Terms of service
Updated 2 November 2026
These terms cover using Albert, the morning debrief that Task Engine makes and runs for agency owners. By signing in to Albert you agree to them. Albert is part of Task Engine's service, so Task Engine's terms and conditions also apply; where they differ for Albert, these terms apply. If your company has its own agreement with Task Engine, that agreement comes first.
Who provides Albert
Task Engine, operated by Andrei Maguleanu, Romania. Albert is part of Task Engine's operations service and is set up for each company on an install call. Questions: albert@taskengine.xyz.
What Albert does
Every working morning Albert reads the tools your company connects and writes you one short note: today's calls, the promises due or overdue, and up to three things you might be missing. Every line shows where it came from. Albert only reads: it never sends, changes or deletes anything in your tools.
Your part
- Connect only tools and accounts you are allowed to connect for your company.
- Keep your sign-in to yourself. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has used it.
- Keep your setup accurate (your clients, goals and how you work), since Albert writes from it.
- Use Albert to see your own work clearly, not to rate, rank or watch individual people on your team. Albert describes the work and never scores people.
Check before you act
Albert's debrief is written by an AI model from what your tools contain. It can miss things or get them wrong, and it is only as current as the tools it reads. Every line links to its source so you can check it. Decisions stay yours.
Your data
What Albert reads from your tools stays your company's. Task Engine uses it only to run Albert for you, as the privacy policy describes. Albert itself, its software and its design, belongs to Task Engine.
Confidentiality
We keep your company's information confidential. Task Engine looks at it only to run Albert for you or to fix a problem, and the companies that help run Albert handle it only for their part of that job, as the privacy policy lists. We don't share it with anyone else unless the law requires it.
Availability and changes
We work to have your debrief ready every working morning, but we can't promise Albert is never late or unavailable, for example when a tool it reads is down. We may improve Albert and change how it works. We may pause an account that breaks these terms, and tell you why.
Ending
You can disconnect any tool on the Tools page at any time, and stop using Albert by telling us. When your company stops, we delete its data, as the privacy policy says.
Provided as it is
Albert is provided as it is and as available. Beyond what these terms say, we make no promises about it, as far as the law allows.
Responsibility
As far as the law allows, Task Engine isn't responsible for decisions made from a debrief, or for losses caused by the tools Albert reads. Nothing in these terms limits a responsibility the law doesn't allow us to limit.
Law and changes to these terms
Romanian law applies. When these terms change, we update this page and the date at the top, and tell you in Albert or by email before a change that affects you applies.
